Gil Cloud was named Director of Athletics in 2002. Cloud previously served as the Director of Athletics at Arkansas Tech University and Northeastern State University. Cloud has also served as an Intercollegiate Athletics Consultant for Wilson Research Services, where he consulted on market research with universities for fundraising with athletics-related projects. His thirty plus years of athletics administration and coaching experience spans from the high schools ranks to Division I. An Oklahoma native, Cloud received his Bachelor of Science degree in health, physical education and recreation from the University of Tulsa and his Master of Science in curriculum development and supervision of instruction from Kansas State University. Cloud is married to Vickie and they reside in Independence, Iowa. They have two grown children, Dr. Kim Teel an English Professor at Grayson College in Texas and Matt, the Head Baseball Coach at Friend University in Kansas.
