Chad Markuson received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Corporate Finance) and a minor in accounting from Mankato State University in 1995. Markuson became the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach in 2004. He was also named the Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Affairs in 2006. Markuson served as the girl's golf coach at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln for four years earning one state title. He also was the boy's golf coach at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption for five years earning one state team appearance. He also served seven seasons as the Assumption varsity assistant girl's basketball coach earning two state titles. Markuson was the Director of Golf Operations and General Manager for The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids from 1996-2004. Chad and his wife Heather reside in Independence.
