Christina Missildine was named the head coach after Brent Kuker stepped down early in the 2007 season. Missildine was hired as the assistant softball coach at Upper Iowa in November 2004. She joined the Peacocks after serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the St. Cloud State University softball team. With Missildine on staff, St. Cloud State won two North Central Conference championships, won the 2004 Regional Championship and finished third at the NCAA Division II National Championships. The coaching staff at St. Cloud State was named the Speedline/NFCA Division II North Central Region Coaching Staff of the Year in 2004. Born and raised in Sacramento, Calif., Missildine played softball at Sacramento City College before moving to the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. Her team at the University of Mary won two regional championships and made appearances at the NAIA Championships. Missildine earned her Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Science from University of Mary. She also has her Master's Degree in Physical Education from St. Cloud State. |
