Peacock Spring Sports Affected by Strong Storms and Cold Temperatures

The Upper Iowa Athletics Department is announcing several changes to the schedules of four spring sports.

Softball
Today's non-conference matchup with Minnesota State here in Fayette has been cancelled due to the weather conditions. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for April 29th at 2:00pm.

Women's Tennis
The team has relocated their match with the University of Mary to Owatonna, Minnesota instead of New Ulm, Minnesota. The match will now be held Saturday, April 12th, at 8:00 a.m. The match with Bemidji State scheduled for Sunday remains as scheduled.

Women's Golf
The team was originally scheduled to play in the second half of the Northern Sun Conference Championship this weekend in Yankton, S.D. The NSIC Championship will now be played in Yankton next week on Thursday and Friday, Apr. 17-18.

Baseball
The team has moved the starting day of their four-game NSIC series with Minnesota, Crookston to this Sunday, Apr. 13, instead of Saturday. The first pitch for Sunday's double header will be at 1:00pm, while Monday's double header will begin at noon.
